Design

We will help you to understand your Source-to-Pay requirements and design processes that fit your needs. We use our leading practice, industry-aligned expertise to ensure delivery of your transformation projects is accelerated and benefits maximised.

The most important step in the design process is agreeing why you are doing the project and setting meaningful, measurable targets that you are looking to achieve.  We’ve developed a set of design principles that can be tailored to an organisation and assist with setting targets in-line with benchmark performance levels achieved by similar businesses.

Once design principles are agreed the benefits, objectives and outline plan for your project should be documented and sponsorship agreed.    We’ve developed business case templates to accelerate drafting, review and sign-off whilst ensuring the required clarity is documented to guide the project delivery.
Your detailed requirements will be used throughout your technology implementation to guide your design activities, validate your testing and inform your change management.   A significant majority of an organisation’s requirements are consistent with other organisations.  We’ve developed a set of of leading practice requirements to accelerate requirements build whilst increasing the focus that can be given to determining your organisation-specific requirements.
Cloud technology requires your business to align with leading practice processes, rather than continue to develop your own specific ways of working.  We have documented leading practice processes for different types of organisations, industries and technology solutions to focus on ‘to be’ leading practice and the assessment of gaps with current ways of working.

In order to achieve efficiency improvements a key element of your technology design will be determining the right controls balance and automating / systemising these controls where possible.  We have catalogued the controls that leading practice organisations put in place, with libraries relevant to both the public and private sector to enable a review, selection for use as part of your future design.
